Bishop Claver Gets Well

After a stroke in October, Bishop-Emeritus Cisco Claver's condition has been improving. He visited Bontoc and stayed at Teng-ab Clergy House on October 31. On November 2 he blessed the graves of his parents and celebrated with his family at their house now occupied by Vice Governor Loy Claver and his family.
After a gruelling travel from Manila, the Bishop's blood pressure has remained normal. He has been trying to speak and doing some short walks. "His voice is now audible and he can be understood," Bishop Rudy recounts.
Bishop Claver is back in Manila and stays at the Jesuit Residence in the Ateneo campus in Quezon City.

  1. Praise God! it´s really soothing to learn that Bishop Ikoy has recovered well and now back to Ateneo. May God bless him some more years to live and good health. Just knowing that he is around is an inspiration.
